ABOUT BEATTIE BROS.
Beattie Bros. Contracting Ltd. is owned and operated by brothers Brandon and Gavin Beattie. We are Red Seal journeyman carpenters from the Busby area.
Growing up on an acreage with our father's cabinet shop in the yard. It gave us early exposure to the trades and set a clear standard for careful workmanship.
After high school, we both worked in commercial construction, completed our carpentry apprenticeships, and moved into site superintendent roles. We began taking on small projects together in 2002 and established Beattie Bros. Contracting as a full-time business in the spring of 2004.
Today, we both manage the company's daily operations and remain directly involved in each project.
HOW WE APPROACH THE WORK
Good construction starts with a good plan. Before work begins, we want the drawings, scope, budget, and major selections to be as complete as possible. Clear decisions early help keep the project organized and reduce surprises during construction.
We focus first on the parts of a home that determine how it will perform over time: the structure, building envelope, windows, mechanical systems, and water management. Finishes matter, but they are only as good as what is behind them.
Our job is to explain the available options, the practical differences between them, and where added investment is worthwhile. We are not interested in upselling. We want clients to understand the choices and make decisions that suit the project and budget.

LOCAL TO WESTLOCK COUNTY
We both live near Busby with our families and work primarily throughout Westlock County and surrounding rural communities. We take pride in building for the communities we call home.
